Gauhati University B.Tech Admission Gauhati University was established in 1948. University established as the first University in North East India. no, there is b tech course in electronics & communication technology, information technology, computer science & engineering and biotechnology. it offers B.S. course of duration 4 year also, dat is in chemical, physical & mathematical science.

Institute of Science and Technology, Guahati University is Not recognized by AICTE. Being a University AICTE recognition is not necessary.
