Eligibility for the B.Tech Admission:

For make the eligibility in the B. Tech programme candidate must have to pass the 12th examination with science faculty. Physics and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects for the eligibility. Students who complete the Diploma education are also eligible for the admission in the second year of the B. Tech programme. 

Admission Procedure:

To get the admission in the University for the B. Tech programme students must have to give the entrance examination of the Gauhati University. This examination is conducted by the University itself. Gauhati University M.Tech Admission 

Gauhati University is located at the Gauhati, which is at Assam in India. This is the first University of North East India. University is formed in the year of 1948. Eligibility for the M.Tech programme:

For the admission in the M. Tech programme student must have to complete the B. Tech degree or B. E. in the concern field with the minimum of 60% marks in the final year form any recognized University in India.

Admission Procedure:

Admissions for the M. Tech programmes are carried out through the entrance examination which is conducted by the University. Students who scores good marks in the GATE examination are allow for applying directly for the admission procedure. After the entrance examination the session for the personal interview and group discussion is carried out.
