NERIST B.Tech AdmissionThe full name of the NERIST is North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. As the name indicates Institute is specially form for the technical courses. Institute was established in 1984. The establishment of the Institute is done by the Government of India. NERIST is located at the Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Institute starts it operation form the 1986. This Institute is managed by the Board of Management, comprising representatives of MHRD. The aim behind the establishment of the University is to provide technical education for the students from the North East region of India. Institute also provides various facilities for the students from Hostel to library. The campus of the Institute has very good internet connectivity which is very useful for the students.
University offers B Tech programme in various faculties of engineering. This four years full time educations programme. The detail information about the programme is given below.
Eligibility for the Admission:
To get the admission in the B. Tech programme of the NERIST students must have to pass the 12th examination with minimum of 50% marks. Physics Mathematics and one more equivalent subject is compulsory for the admission. Foreign candidates are also eligible for the admission with the valid documents.
Admission Procedure:
Admissions for the B. Tech programmes are carried out through the entrance examinations. Various nationalized entrance examinations are valid for the admission. NERIST NEE is the Institute entrance examination for the admission. Other exams are as follows: IIT-JEE and AIEEE.
