NERIST M.Tech Admission

NERIST is stands for the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology. This institution is located at the Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. The formation of the Institute is done for the purpose of start technological institute in the North Eastern territory of India. NERIST is established by the Government of India in the 1954. Actual working was stared in the 1986. As the name shows Institution is deals with the technical courses in Engineering and science faculties. Institute offers B Tech, M Tech, Ph D and other programmes. All the courses of the Institute are available on the full time and part time education mode.

M Tech programme is available on the full rime education. This is master’s programme and the duration of this programme is two years. Details about the M Tech programme are given as follows.

M Tech Faculties:

• Civil Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

• Automobile Technology Etc.

Eligibility for the Admission:

For the admission in the M Tech programme of the Institute, student must have to pass the B Tech course with minimum of 60% aggregated marks in the final tear of B Tech course. There are several relaxation provided in the minimum marks for the candidates who are belongs from the reserved category.

Admission Procedure:

For the admission in the M. Tech programme of the Institute student must have to give the entrance examination of the University which is conducted by the Institute. Name of the Institute entrance test is NERIST NEE. The candidate who gives the GATE examination is gets the direct admission in the entrance test without giving the NERIST NEE.
