Jamia Millia Islamia B.Tech Admission

Jamia Milia Islamia organizes separate entrance test for the admissions to the B.Tech course Jamia Millia Islamia University was turned into a central university in India in the December 1988 through a Special Parliament Act. The university has different awards for the excellent education system. The students need to give their best for this exam to take admission in the course of interest.

Eligibility Criteria: 

The applicant needs to pass 10+2 or correspondent exam with minimum 45% marks with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. The applicants appearing for the class 12 exams in the respective year may also apply. The applicant must have the age between 17-23 years.

Application forms Availability: 

The forms for the Jamia Milia Islamia entrance test will be available at the University Counter. The form may also be attained through post by sending the Demand Draft with the form request letter. Candidates may also download application form through university website. 

Courses Available: 

B.Tech (4 years) in:

• Civil Engineering

• Computer Science Engineering

• Electrical Engineering

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Mechanical Engineering

Examination Pattern: 

The paper will have 3 hours time and will have 170 marks objective type questions:

Physics 55 marks

Chemistry 55 marks

Mathematics 60 marks

Admission Procedure: 

The applicants who have cleared the entrance exam and who are in the merit list will be called for the final interview and then the top candidates will be selected for the course.

Admission for the B.Tech is relied on the entrance test as well as interview. The weight age for the entrance examination is 170 marks the weight age for interview is 30 marks. The applicants, who clear written test, will be called for the interview at later stage.
