Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology B.Tech Admission

The IIST (Indian Institute of Space science and Technology) is acknowledged as university under the UGC act in year 1956. The institute had started in year 2007 from VSSC (Vikram Sarabhai Space centre). 

IIST (Indian Institute of Space science and Technology) provides undergraduate B. Tech program and postgraduate and the doctoral or post graduation programs for fulfilling the requirements for ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). The institute provides outstanding environment to the development for excellent academics. IIST (Indian Institute of Space science and Technology) offers B. Tech in Aerospace, Avionics, Physical Sciences, and Engineering. 

The academic region of campus has very well constructed lecture halls, Seminar halls, counseling halls, and computing facilities. The Information center, which is completely computerized, provides of the institute. The hostel offers rooms to both girls and boys individually with easy equipments. Every room has the space to two students.  Computer lab has the Internet labs as well as programming labs through the capability of 60 students. A variety of Departments in the IIST (Indian Institute of Space science and Technology) include Department of Physics, Department of space and earth science, Department of Chemistry, Department of Mathematics, Department of the aerospace engineering, and Department of Avionics.

Eligibility Criteria & Admission Procedure: 
The entrance test also chooses the admission for B. Tech programs otherwise undergraduate programs. To apply for the B. Tech the eligibility is the candidate need to have minimum 70% marks in the 10th and 12th standards. The Criteria provides relaxation to the SC/ST candidates. Application cost is Rs 500/- for the male candidates in the General as well as OBC categories while for the females as well as SC/ST candidates, application cost is Rs 250/-. The Reservation is according to the Indian Government rules.
