Himachal Pradesh University is a reputed university located in Shimla by offering number of courses to its students. University offers vast range of diploma, degree and PG courses in every field. This university is being affiliate to the prestigious Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and there are many other colleges that are affiliate to this university. Established in the year 1970, this university was elevated from Regional Centre of Punjab and now it is being recognized across India. This university is being approved by AICTE and is and is being recognized by UGC.
The B Tech course offered by the university is being well organized and the syllabus is very well designed. Students can pursue B Tech in field of Computer Science, IT, Engineering etc. University has well designed computer lab which helps students to learn in both practical and theoretical way.
Eligibility for B.Tech Course:
• Candidate need to be 10+2 pass out with 50% marks by taking subjects like PCM.
• Candidate need to appear for entrance exam which is conducted by university at Shimla, Dharmashala and Delhi.
• Candidate will be selected under the basis of scores of entrance exam.
Application for B Tech course:
The application form along with the prospectus can be obtained from university counter by paying Rs 1000/-. The same can be obtained through post by paying Rs 1100/- drawn under the favor of UIIT, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla- 171 005. It is advised that the form should be submitted before the due date. The same can also be downloaded from university website www.hpuiitshimla.org.
