GITAM University BTech AdmissionEstablished in the year 1980, Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is the result of some intellectual people and industrialists in Andhra Pradesh, who came forward to provide a world class technology and management institute for students. Located in Vishakhapatnam, this prominent institute is also called as GITAM University. This university is run by some governing body which includes industrialist, educationists, professionals etc. The GITAM Institute of International Business is prominent institute in Andhra Pradesh offering higher level of management course in international level. In August 2007, it got the status of Deemed University under the recognition of UGC Act 1956. Currently, GITAM University has four different departments under its arm, College of Management, College of Pharmacy, College of Technology and College of Science.
The B Tech course offered by the university is very well designed as students are being provided with quality study materials. This course is of 5yrs with subjects like Aeronautical, Engineering, Mechanical, Technology, IT and Electronics.
Eligibility for B Tech course:
• Candidate need to be 10+2 pass out with at least 60% marks in PCM subjects.
• Candidate who has completed diploma course in mechanical or technical subject can also apply for the course.
• Candidate who is appearing for final year exam can also apply for the course.
Application form B Tech course:
The application form for the B Tech course can be downloaded from university website www.gitam.edu by paying specific amount of money. The same can also be obtained from selected branch of Union Bank of India and Indian Banks. Application form along with prospectus can be also obtained from Director of the admission through DD by paying Rs 1100/- under the favor of GITAM University.
