Assam University M.Tech AdmissionAssam University was established in 1994. This is public type University. University is located at the Silchar, Assam, India. The campus area of the University is spread around on 600 acres of area. University offers various courses in different faculties through its nine schools and with 29 departments of those schools. Assam University has the 51 colleges who offers various post graduate and under graduate courses in the Assam territory. This University form to evaluate the education in the South Assam, bordering Bangladesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Nagaland. University also provides various good facilities for the students. Under the school of technology Assam University offers various engineering programmes. It also offers M. Tech programme which is stands for Master in Technology. This is master’s programme and the duration of this programme is two years.
Eligibility for the M.Tech admission:
To get the admission in the M. Tech programme of the University student must have to complete the B. Tech course or Degree course from any recognized University in India. The minimum requirements of the marks for the M. Tech admission are 60%.
Admission Procedure:
The selection of the candidate is done on the basis of the entrance examination. Candidates are mandatory to give the entrance examination which is conducted by the University. Some of the nationalized entrance examinations are also eligible for the admission procedure.
