Annamalai University B.Tech AdmissionAnnamalai University, situated at Annamalai Nagar, offers admission to various courses like B.E., B.Pharm., Pharm.D, D.Pharm., B. Tech., M.Tech., M.E., M.Pharm., MCA, B.Sc (Ag.), M.Sc (Agri.), and MBA (Agri. Business) on campus programs.
Eligibility
For B. Tech, the candidate should have passing marks in H.S.C., with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics, or must pass in H.S.C. (vocation stream) with subjects like Physics and Mathematics or associated vocational subjects. Students having diploma in one of programs like civil, electrical, mechanical, chemical, electronics, and computer engineering or other counterpart exam approved by Annamalai University with the minimum percentage marks as mentioned below:
General Category: 55% average in associated subjects
Backward Category: 50% average in associated subjects
MBC/DNC: 45% average in associated subjects
SC/ST: Only passing marks are required
Age limit
For D.Pharm., B.Pharm., B. Tech., and Pharm.D programs, the candidates must have age of minimum 17 years.
Admission Procedure
Application form with prospectus, need to be acquired from, the registrar, at Annamalai university, Annamalainagar-608002, by paying the requisite fee, personally or through sending the necessary demand draft, favoring to, the registrar, Annamalai university, Annamalainagar. The demand draft should be of any nationalized bank, to be paid at Chennai, with one self addressed as well as stamped thick envelope, having size of 30 cm x 24 cm. Candidate needs to affix stamps of value of Rs 30, and also mention the name of the program, for which, application is made. The name of program also needs to be mentioned very clearly in requisition letter. The name as well as the address of candidate and program applied should be clearly mentioned on backside of demand draft also. The application forms will be issued at university cash counter during the working days only.
