VIT University BTech Admission

VIT University also known as Vellore institute of technology it is located in Vellore Tamilnadu, India. It is established in 1984. The university previously known as Vellore engineering college from 1984 to 2001. The university have more than 15000 student and 1600 of academic staff. The main mission of the university is to educate student from all over India including local and rural areas, and from other countries. Main motto of university is “a place to learn; a chance to grow” The university offers 30 post graduates, 13 undergraduate and 13 centers research.

Eligibility for B.Tech admission:

The university conducts VIT engineering entrance examination for the admission of B.Tech. Candidate should pass 12th or its equivalent with minimum 60 % marks in Physics, chemistry and mathematics or Physics, chemistry and Biology For ST, SC  50% marks for those candidate who hailing from North eastern states of Meghalaya, Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim, arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland and Jammu & Kashmir. PCM group candidate are eligible for all programmers.

Selection procedure:

The VIT conduct entrance examination for b tech admission after examination. The candidates are selected on performance in the entrance examination

Entrance examination is conducted in all major cities of India. The university offers following B.
