Jadavpur University MTech Admission
Jadavpur University is locates at Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The University was established in 1955 under the Jadavpur University Act in the parliamentary of Bengal. The University has two campuses; one is locates at Jadavpur and another is at Salt lake which is the new campus. Jadavpur campus is nearly of 58 acres of area. Jadavpur University is autonomous university. The University is granted by University Grants Commission (UGC). University is counted in first five Universities in India for the technical University. University got five star rating from NAAC. Jadavpur University provides various facilities to the students like Canteen, Club, Post office, Banks and ATM’s, Transport facility, Health services, Sports & gym and Auditorium etc.
Eligibility for M. Tech admission:
The candidate is must have the Indian Nationality to make eligibility for the M. Tech admissions. The candidates must have to pass full time degree course from any recognized University in India with minimum of 60% aggregated marks. 10% relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates. The candidates who give the Final year/ Final semester examination are also eligible for the admission process.
General Information:
The university provides good placement facility to the student in the campus interview. Various recognized national and multinational companies are visits the campus regularly for the recruitments.
Selection Procedure:
The selection procedure is carried out on the basis of the merit obtained by the qualifying examination. Candidates who clear the qualifying examination are mandatory to give the Interview and admission test to conform the admission in the University for M. Tech programme.
