VIT is also calls as Vellore institute of technology which is the full name of the University. The VIT is locates in Tamil Nadu state, India. The University was established in 1984. Formerly University is known as Vellore engineering college; in 2001 its name is changed as Vellore institute of technology. Currently more than 15000 students are pursuing various courses in University. Nearly 1600 academic staff is available in the University for teaching the different programmes. The motto of the University is a place to learn; a chance to grow. University offers graduate and post graduate level technical courses. Currently 30 post graduate and 13 under graduate programs are available in University. VIT also has 13 research centers.

Eligibility for M. Tech admission:

The candidates must have to pass full time degree course from any recognized University with minimum of 60% aggregated marks. The candidate is must have the Indian Nationality to make eligibility for the M. Tech admissions.

Selection Procedure:

The selection candidates are based on the individual’s performance in the entrance examination which is conducted by the Vellore institute of technology. The candidates who pass the examination and get shortlisted are calls for the Interview.
